About you

You will have a kind and compassionate nature with a desire to care for others. As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will be living with one of our customers or maybe even a couple to provide the very best care. You are there to be a companion, whilst also helping them remain independent in their own home and cherish all the memories they’ve made there.

A driving license and use of a car is desirable but not essential.

About the role

You will live within an individual’s own home to provide care and support tailored to their needs and desires. Your role will be varied and may include: -

• Supporting the individual with their personal care
• Cooking and serving simple meals
• Supporting the individual to eat and drink
• Administering medication
• Manual handling, using equipment where required
• Companionship
• Light housework
• Supporting the individual to attend appointments and/or to access the local community
• Social outings
